Free design proof: you approve it before we make it

Before anything is made, you receive the final artwork for your scarf within 24 hours. Nothing goes into production without your sign-off.

What is a design proof?

The design proof is the technical artwork for your scarf exactly as it will be made: size, yarn colours, precise placement of the wording and badge, pattern and finish. It is the reference document between you and the factory. What is on the approved proof is what you receive.

How it works

  1. Send your request from the scarf configurator or the quote form, with your badge if you have one.
  2. Our designer prepares the proof, adapting your badge to the chosen technique: simplified for the jacquard knit, redrawn as a vector if needed.
  3. You receive the proof and the quote by email within 24 working hours.
  4. Ask for changes or approve it. There is no limit on the number of rounds.
  5. Production starts once you have approved it in writing. Allow 4 to 6 weeks to delivery.

What the proof shows

  • Front and back views, to scale
  • Yarn or print colours, with their references
  • Dimensions and fringe length
  • How your badge will really look in the chosen technique
  • An order summary: quantity, options, price

Why it matters

Every technique has its limits. On a knitted jacquard scarf, for example, a badge is reproduced stitch by stitch with a limited number of colours. The proof shows you that real result before production, so there are no surprises on delivery. Our online configurator already gives you a first preview; the proof refines it with a designer’s eye.

Frequently asked questions

Is the design proof really free?

Yes. The proof and any changes are included whether you go on to order or not. You only commit when you approve the design and the quote.

How many changes can I ask for?

As many as it takes to get it right. In practice, one or two rounds are usually enough.

Will the colours on the proof match the scarf exactly?

No screen shows a yarn colour perfectly, which is why the proof lists the colour references used. If you have Pantone references, send them over and we will match the closest yarns.

What file should I send for my badge?

Ideally a vector file (SVG, AI, EPS or PDF). Failing that, a good-quality PNG or JPG at least 1,000 pixels wide. Our designer can redraw a lower-quality badge.
